Welding I, II, III, IV, & V
Monday/Wednesday, or Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-9:30 p.m.. Each of the units is one semester in length and they must be taken in numerical sequence beginning with Unit I.

Unit I – Introduction to metalworking, Oxy Acetylene Welding & Cutting, and shop safety - 69 hours.
Unit II – Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick) - 75 hours
Unit III – Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) - 75 hours
Unit IV – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG) - 69 hours
UnitV– Shop Application and Advanced Techniques 75 hours

69 Hour Classes begin:
  Mon/Wed Sept. 15, 2010 and Jan 19, 2011
  Tues/Thurs Sept. 14, 2010 and Jan. 18, 2011

75 Hour Classes begin
  Mon/Wed. Sept. 8, 2010 and Jan 10, 2011
  Tues/Thurs Sept. 7, 2010 and Jan. 11, 2011

Cost: $305.00 plus $50.00 lab fee per unit.

Machine Shop
Fall Sem., Sept. 8, 2010

Monday and Wednesday, 6:00-9:00 p.m. 25 meetings, 75 hours. Includes use of all machine hand tools as well as operation of standard machines (lathes and mills), shapers, surface grinders, and power saws.

Instructor: R. Swordy Cost: $305.00 plus $35.00 lab fee
*Lab fee cannot be applied to individual projects.

Computerized Numerical Controls
(CNC Milling Machine & Lathe)
Spring Sem. Jan. 11, 2011
Tuesday 6:00-9:00 p.m. 15 meetings 45 hours. Includes use of computer, programming and operations of milling machine and lathe.

Instructor: R. Swordy Cost: $180.00

Precision Measurement
Spring Sem. Jan. 11, 2011
Tues/Thurs 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. 10 sessions. 22 hours
Need to brush up on math skills? Instruction includes reading precision measuring tools, reviewing decimals and fractions and more.

Instructor: D. Jago Cost $90.00 plus books
